Antiarrhythmics are a class of medicines that are used for the treatment of different types of irregular heartbeats or heart rhythms (arrhythmia). These medicines work by restoring a normal regular heartbeat. Some of these medicines are also available in injectable forms for serious types of arrhythmia.
