Antitubercular products are a group of medicines used to treat a common infectious disease known as tuberculosis. Several antitubercular medicines are usually given in combination as part of a regimen to effectively treat tuberculosis. These medicines kill the bacteria causing tuberculosis or prevent its growth. Some of the medicines in this group are even used to treat resistant types of tuberculosis.
