These are a group of medicines used in the treatment of glaucoma and ocular hypertension (elevated pressure in the eye). They show their action by decreasing the fluid (aqueous humor) production in the eye which relieves the pressure in the eye. This helps to prevent vision loss due to glaucoma. These medicines may be used alone or in combination.
