The active ingredient in the Uplat capsule is carica papaya leaf extract and tinospora cordifolia. Carica papaya is a rich source of complex biochemical constituents including flavonoids, glycosides, alkaloids, glutathione and glucosinolates that help boost the number of platelets by stimulating bone marrow. It is helpful for dengue by boosting the immune system and increasing platelet, white blood cell, and neutrophil count. It can also prevent platelet destruction in the blood and thereby increase the life of the platelet in circulation.
