Unicobal Forte Tablet

Unicobal Forte Capsule is a combination of Mecobalamin, Alpha Lipoic acid, Pyridoxine and Folic acid.

Mecobalamin is used in peripheral neuropathy, diabetic neuropathy etc. It is a form of vitamin B12. This vitamin is one of two active coenzymes used by B-12 dependent enzymes in the body.
Mecobalamin is used in treating diseases of vitamin B12 deficiency (such as pernicious anemia), or diseases of effective B12 deficiency, such as vitamin B12 metabolic pathway. Mecobalamin is retained in the body better than cyanocobalamin.

Alpha-lipoic acid or ALA is a naturally occurring compound that's made in the body. It serves vital functions at the cellular level, such as energy production. Alpha-lipoic acid helps to prevent certain kinds of cell damage in the body, and also restores vitamin levels such as vitamin E and vitamin C. Alpha-lipoic acid breaks down carbohydrates and to make energy for the other organs in the body. Alpha-lipoic acid works as an antioxidant, which means that it might provide protection to the brain under conditions of damage or injury. The antioxidant effects are also helpful in certain liver diseases.
