Role of Active Ingredient:
Swiferon capsule is used for the prevention and treatment of low iron levels in the body. It plays a major role in metabolic processes in the body by facilitating the production of red blood cells, which carry oxygen. Presence of ascorbic acid further facilitates absorption of iron in the blood and promotes overall immunity of the body. It also acts as an antioxidant.
Vitamin B12 contributes towards increases red cell formation, as well as nucleoprotein and myelin synthesis. Absence of folate acid prevents it from functioning properly. Together these three agents helps in addressing iron-deficiency anemia, which might happen due to improper diet, increased nutritional needs during pregnancy and prolonged illnesses.
