Siderfol Capsule

Siderfol capsule contain Ferrous fumarate, Folic acid, vitamin B6, vitamin B12 and vitamin C .
Ferrous fumarate offers higher absorption and improves hemoglobin level. Iron transports oxygen throughout the body and maintains red blood cells, thus making an individual feel energetic and prevents anemia.
Folic acid is essential to numerous bodily functions ranging from nucleotide biosynthesis to the remethylation of homocysteine. It is especially important during periods of rapid cell division and growth. Both children and adults require folic acid to produce healthy red blood cells and prevent anemia.
Vitamin B6 may play a role in the prevention of pre-eclampsia, where the mother’s blood pressure is high with large amounts of protein in the urine or other organ dysfunction, and in babies being born too early (preterm birth).
Vitamin B12, a water-soluble vitamin, Mecobalamin is also closely involved with folic acid in several important metabolic pathways. Deficiency leads to the development of megaloblastic anaemia.
Vitamin C helps the body absorb more iron. Vitamin C is a water-soluble vitamin with antioxidant activity.

Siderfol capsule used for the treatment of Iron deficiency anemia,Iron deficiency due to chronic blood loss or low intake of iron and nutritional anaemia that occurs especially during pregnancy and lactation.
Siderfol capsule can be taken orally with water, after meals.
