Potklor oral solution contains Potassium Chloride which is used to prevent and treat the low levels of potassium in the body.    Potassium is a normal dietary constituent and under healthy conditions, the amount of potassium absorbed in the body is equal to the amount excreted in the urine. Potassium depletion can occur whenever the rate of potassium loss exceeds the rate of potassium intake. Potassium depletion usually develops as a consequence of therapy with diuretics, in patients with diabetic ketoacidosis, or in case of severe diarrhea, especially if associated with vomiting.
