Orhydrate Powder

Orhydrate powder is a WHO based ORS (Oral Rehydration Salt) formula consists of anhydrous dextrose, potassium chloride, sodium chloride and sodium citrate. Orhydrate powder is good oral electrolyte for gastrointestinal problems.

Orhydrate orange powder solution is use to restores body fluids & electrolytes, lost due to chronic salt-losing conditions (diarrhea or vomiting), prevention of muscle cramps during routine hemodialysis, replacement of fluid and electrolytes.
Orhydrate powder is used to prevent or to treat low blood levels of potassium (hypokalemia).

Directions for use:
1. Dissolve the contents of the packet in the amount of drinking water indicated on the packet.
2. If drinking water is not available, or if you are not sure the water is drinkable, boil the water for at least 10 minutes and then let cool.
3. Stir well, and give to the child to drink in a cup or spoon feed.

Use under medical supervision.
