Role of key ingredients:
Sodium Chloride helps in providing and retaining moisture to the dry and inflammed nasal membrane and also softens thick and crusty mucus. Benzalkonium Chloride have an antiseptic activity. Its antiseptic activity is due to its highly hydrosoluble bipolar nature with surfactant properties which leads to the dissolution of cell membrane.
