K2-Zole Shampoo contains ketoconazole and Piroctone Olamine. Ketoconazole kills fungi and yeasts by interfering with their cell membranes. The disruption in production of ergosterol, which is an essential component of fungal cell membranes disrupts the fungal cell membrane, resulting in its death. Piroctone Olamine is more effective & less toxic than ZPTO (Zinc Pyrithione). It is more effective due to better spreadibility and better foaming.
K2-Zole Shampoo is used for the prevention and treatment of dandruff. It treats flaking, scaling, itching, dandruff and also helps to relieve inflammation due to dandruff. Besides cleaning the scalp thoroughly, it controls the reoccurrence of dandruff as well. It is suitable for all scalp types.
Directions of use: 1. Squeeze a little K2-Zole Shampoo into the palm of your hand. 2. Massage the scalp thoroughly into a lather. 3. Leave it on for 5 to 10 minutes and then rinse your scalp thoroughly.
Use twice a week for 4 weeks. After the scalp has cleared, use it once a week to prevent the reoccurrence of dandruff and to keep the scalp clear.
