HIPOPHOS L SYRUP contains ferrous gluconate , Vitamin B12, folic acid , lysine, Vitamin B6, D-panthenol , Niacinamide.
Iron (Ferrous Gluconate) is an essential constituent of hemoglobin, cytochrome, and other components of respiratory enzyme systems. Its chief functions are in the transport of oxygen to tissue (hemoglobin) and in cellular oxidation mechanisms. Folic acid is essential to numerous bodily functions ranging from nucleotide biosynthesis to the remethylation of homocysteine. It is especially important during periods of rapid cell division and growth. Both children and adults require folic acid to produce healthy red blood cells and prevent anemia.

Hipophos L Syrup is used for the treatment of

Iron deficiency anemia,
Iron deficiency due to chronic blood loss or low intake of iron
Iron deficiency anaemia and nutritional anaemia that occurs especially during pregnancy and lactation.
