Hepatoglobine Liquid

Hepatoglobine Liquid contains iron, folic acid and methylcobalamin. Iron transports oxygen throughout the body and maintains red blood cells, thus making an individual feel energetic and preventing anaemia. Folic acid is essential to numerous bodily functions ranging from nucleotide biosynthesis to the remethylation of homocysteine. It is especially important during periods of rapid cell division and growth. Both children and adults require folic acid to produce healthy red blood cells and prevent anaemia. Methylcobalamin promotes the initiation and maturation of blood cells.

• Proteolysed liver (driven from not less than 0.24 gm of fresh liver having vitamin B12 activity equivalent to 0.16 mcg)

• Peptone

• Peptonised iron (equivalent to 3.95 mg of elemental iron)

• Iron and ammonium citrate IP (equivalent to 7 mg of elemental iron)

• Folic acid

• Ethanol (95%) I.P.

• Palatable base

• Total alcohol: 2.3% v/v

Indications:
Hypoproteinemia and related conditions, especially in pregnancy and lactation, post-surgery, childhood, convalescence, old age and other debilitated states.
