Calonat CL Tablet

Calonat-CL tablet used to ensure adequate supply of calcium to bones.It contains Calcium Acetate,Vitamin D(calcitriol),Magnesium and Zinc.


Role of key ingredients:
Calcium acetate is used to treat hyperphosphatemia (too much phosphate in the blood) in patients with end stage kidney disease who are on dialysis. Calcium acetate works by binding with the phosphate in the food you eat, so that it is eliminated from the body without being absorbed.It is used to prevent or treat low blood calcium levels in people who do not get enough calcium from their diets.Calcium is important for growth and development of bones.
Vitamin D helps the body absorb calcium and phosphorus. Having the right amounts of Vitamin D, Calcium, and Phosphorus is important for building and keeping strong bones.
Magnesium and Zinc necessary for bone mineralization and bone matrix formation.
