Paracetamol + Chlorpheniramine Maleate + Phenylephrine + Zinc Gluconate is a combination of five medicines: Paracetamol + Chlorpheniramine Maleate + Phenylephrine + Zinc Gluconate1, Paracetamol + Chlorpheniramine Maleate + Phenylephrine + Zinc Gluconate2, Paracetamol + Chlorpheniramine Maleate + Phenylephrine + Zinc Gluconate3 and Paracetamol + Chlorpheniramine Maleate + Phenylephrine + Zinc Gluconate4 which relieve cold symptoms. Paracetamol + Chlorpheniramine Maleate + Phenylephrine + Zinc Gluconate1 is an analgesic (pain reliever) and antipyretic (fever reducer). It blocks the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that cause pain and fever. Paracetamol + Chlorpheniramine Maleate + Phenylephrine + Zinc Gluconate2 is an antiallergic which relieves allergy symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing. Paracetamol + Chlorpheniramine Maleate + Phenylephrine + Zinc Gluconate3 is a nasal decongestant which narrows the small blood vessels providing relief from congestion or stuffiness in the nose. Paracetamol + Chlorpheniramine Maleate + Phenylephrine + Zinc Gluconate4 is a nutritional supplement which releases zinc ions into the throat. This prevents the cold virus from reproducing due to which the virus dies off faster and the cold ends sooner.
