How Tussacron Products work
Promethazine + Pholcodine is a combination of two medicines: Promethazine + Pholcodine1 and Promethazine + Pholcodine2, which relieves dry cough. Promethazine + Pholcodine1 is an antiallergic. It blocks the action of a chemical messenger (histamine) which is responsible to trigger cough due to allergy. Promethazine + Pholcodine2 is a cough suppressant. It suppresses cough by reducing the activity of cough center in the brain.
