How Sacutan Products work
Sacubitril + Valsartan is a combination of two medicines: Sacubitril and Valsartan which belong to a class of angiotensin receptor neprilysin inhibitor (ARNI). This combination treats heart failure by relaxing the blood vessels and making it easier for your heart to pump blood throughout your body. In addition, it also helps your body retain less water.

Q. Who should avoid taking Sacutan 200 Tablet?
Patients who are allergic to any of its components should avoid Sacutan 200 Tablet. Also, those who are allergic to the use of ACE inhibitors or ARBs should avoid using this medicine. It should not be used along with other antihypertensive medicines like ACE inhibitors or ARBs. Do not take it for at least 36 hours before or after you take an ACE inhibitor medicine. If you are not sure, consult your doctor.
Q. What should I tell my doctor before taking Sacutan 200 Tablet?
Tell your doctor about all of your medical conditions, including liver or kidney disease, history of facial swelling (angioedema). Inform him if you are pregnant or are breastfeeding. Also, let your doctor know about all medicines you are taking, especially potassium supplements or its medicine salt, painkillers, blood pressure or heart failure medicines (such as ACE inhibitor, ARBs or Aliskiren).
