Prothionamide is used for the treatment of tuberculosis (infectious disease caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis) that is resistant to treatment with conventional medicines.

Side Effects of Prothiobin are Loss of appetite, Nauseaasdfasd, Vomitingsadf, Gastric irritation, Orthostatic hypotension (sudden lowering of blood pressure on standing), Depression, Weakness, Sleepiness.
