How Fluease Products work
Chlorpheniramine Maleate + Phenylephrine + Paracetamol + Sodium Citrate is a combination of four medicines: Chlorpheniramine Maleate + Phenylephrine + Paracetamol + Sodium Citrate1, Chlorpheniramine Maleate + Phenylephrine + Paracetamol + Sodium Citrate2, Chlorpheniramine Maleate + Phenylephrine + Paracetamol + Sodium Citrate3 and Chlorpheniramine Maleate + Phenylephrine + Paracetamol + Sodium Citrate4, which relieves common cold symptoms. Chlorpheniramine is an antiallergic which relieves allergy symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing. Phenylephrine is a decongestant which narrows the small blood vessels providing relief from congestion or stuffiness in the nose. Paracetamol is an analgesic (pain reliever) and an antipyretic (fever reducer). It blocks the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that are responsible for pain and fever. Sodium citrate is a mucolytic which thins and loosens mucus (phlegm), making it easier to cough out.

Q. What if I give too much Fluease Syrup by mistake?
Prolonged or excess intake of Fluease Syrup can put your child at risk of developing serious side effects like seizures, rapid heart rate, /depression, cognition defects, and inability to concentrate. Always stick to the prescribed dose. To pour out the right dose, use the calibrated cup provided with the medicine by the manufacturer. Do not use a kitchen teaspoon as it will not give the correct estimate.
Q. Can other medicines be given at the same time as Fluease Syrup?
Fluease Syrup can sometimes interact with other medicines or substances. Tell your doctor about any other medicines your child is taking before starting Fluease Syrup. Also, check with your child’s doctor before giving any medicine to your child.
Q. In what all conditions should I avoid giving Fluease Syrup to my child?
If your child is suffering from any Cardiovascular disease (hypertension, heart disease), Diabetes mellitus, GI obstruction, increased intraocular pressure, urinary obstruction, or thyroid dysfunction, avoid giving Fluease Syrup. Always inform your doctor about your child’s medical history before giving Fluease Syrup.

Never give your child the medicines that have been recommended for use by adults.
