How EC-Dox Products work

Ambroxol + Doxycycline is a combination of two medicines: Ambroxol + Doxycycline1 and Ambroxol + Doxycycline2 which treat respiratory tract infections. Ambroxol + Doxycycline1 is a mucolytic which thins and loosens mucus (phlegm), making it easier to cough out. Ambroxol + Doxycycline2 is an antibiotic which stops bacterial growth by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions.
