No, Docegem 120mg Injection injection comes as a liquid to be given intravenously (into a vein) by a doctor or nurse in a hospital or clinic. It is usually given over 1 hour once every 3 weeks.

Your doctor will ask you to get blood tests every time you have a scheduled dose of Docegem 120mg Injection. You may be asked to have blood tests, such as hemogram and liver function tests, to ensure that you have enough blood cells and that your liver is functioning well enough to receive Docegem 120mg Injection. In case of white blood cells disturbances, you may experience associated fever or infections.

Hair loss is a common side effect of Docegem 120mg Injection. Normal hair growth may resume after stopping Docegem 120mg Injection. However, in some cases there is permanent hair loss. Consult your doctor if you have any concerns regarding hair loss.
Q. Why is dexamethasone used with Docegem 120mg Injection?
Docegem 120mg Injection may cause fluid retention (swelling in the hands, feet, ankles and legs) as well as severe hypersensitivity reactions. To control such possibilities from occurring all patients are given corticosteroids (dexamethasone) for 3 days starting 1 day prior to Docegem 120mg Injection administration. In case of prostate cancer (metastatic castration-resistant), the recommended regimen is oral dexamethasone given at 12 hours, 3 hours, and 1 hour before the Docegem 120mg Injection infusion.
