How Repaglinide + Voglibose works
Repaglinide + Voglibose is a combination of two antidiabetic medicines: Repaglinide and voglibose. Repaglinide is a meglitinide analogue which increases the amount of insulin released by the pancreas. Voglibose is an alpha-glucosidase inhibitor which inhibits the intestinal enzymes that cause breakdown of complex sugars into simple sugars such as glucose. Together, they prevent blood sugar from rising very high after meals.
