How to use Tofarus Gel
This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Clean and dry the affected area and apply the gel. Wash your hands after applying, unless hands are the affected area.
How Tofarus Gel works
Tofarus Gel suppresses overactive immune system by inhibiting certain enzymes called Janus kinases (JAKs). Thus, Tofarus Gel blocks the production of pro-inflammatory substances (including cytokines) that contribute to the development of inflammation and other symptoms of atopic dermatitis. When used for androgenetic alopecia, Tofarus Gel prevents destruction of hair follicles by overactive immune system. Applying Tofarus Gel helps in hair regrowth in areas affected by androgenetic alopecia.

- Apply Tofarus Gel to the affected areas as a thin film two or three times daily, or as advised by your doctor.
- Do not apply to large areas of skin or near sensitive areas such as private parts or on broken or injured skin.
- Remember to wash your hands after applying Tofarus Gel, unless this is the area being treated.
- Avoid direct contact with the eyes, mouth, nose and rinse thoroughly in case of accidental contact or seek medical help in case of swallowing.
- Do not cover the area being treated with airtight dressings such as bandages unless directed by a doctor, as this may increase the risk of side effects.
