Salutyl ointment mainly contains enzyme Collagenase as active ingredient. The enzyme collagenase is mainly derived from fermentation of clostridium hostolyticum. Collagenase is a protease enzyme that is specific to collagen. Collagen mainly account about 75% of the dry weight of the skin. Salutyl ointment is highly useful for various bone and joint pains as it acts as building blocks for various connective tissues like skin, bones, cartilage, teeth, tendons etc. It also supports healthy skin in body.
Caution: It may produce hypersentivity reactions like allergy in some patients.
Directions of use: It can be directly applied to affected part of skin after cleaning the affected area with water or as suggested by physician.
