Lentor-CV Gold Tablet is used for the prevention of heart attack. It is a combination of medicines that prevent clot formation in the blood vessels. It also helps to reduce increased cholesterol and triglycerides levels.

Lentor-CV Gold Tablet is a combination medicine that is used to prevent heart attack. It contains Atorvastatin that works by reducing the amount of “bad” cholesterol (LDL) and raising the amount of “good” cholesterol (HDL) in your blood. High levels of cholesterol can cause your blood vessels to narrow (atherosclerosis). Lowering the amount of cholesterol reduces the chances of heart diseases and helps you remain healthier for longer.

What is Lentor-CV Gold Tablet?
Lentor-CV Gold Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Aspirin / Acetylsalicylic acid, Atorvastatin and Clopidogrel. Aspirin and Clopidogrel are antiplatelet medicines. They work by preventing the platelets from sticking together and decrease the formation of harmful blood clots. On the other hand, Atorvastatin is a lipid-lowering medicine that blocks an enzyme which makes cholesterol in the body. It lowers the "bad" cholesterol (LDL), triglycerides and raises the "good" cholesterol (HDL).
Can the use of Lentor-CV Gold Tablet cause dizziness?
Yes, the use of Lentor-CV Gold Tablet can cause dizziness (feeling faint, weak, unsteady or lightheaded) in some patients. If you feel dizzy or lightheaded, it is better to rest for some time and resume once you feel better.
Can the use of Lentor-CV Gold Tablet cause nausea and vomiting?
Yes, the use of Lentor-CV Gold Tablet can cause nausea and vomiting. Taking it with milk, food or with antacids can prevent nausea. Avoid taking fatty or fried foods along with this medication. In case of vomiting, drink plenty of water or other fluids by taking small frequent sips. Talk to your doctor if vomiting persists and you notice signs of dehydration like dark colored and strong-smelling urine and a low frequency of urination. Do not take any other medicine without speaking to a doctor.
