Introduction of Halostrol Cream
Halostrol-F Cream is a combination of two medicines that effectively treats skin infections. It minimizes symptoms of inflammation such as redness, swelling, and itching. It also kills infection-causing microorganisms.
Halostrol-F Cream is meant for external use only. It should be applied only to the affected area of the skin as per the dosage and schedule prescribed by your doctor. In order to get the most benefit, apply it regularly and preferably at the same time each day. Do not use larger amounts or apply it more often or for a longer duration than directed. This will only increase the risk of side effects. Avoid any contact with your eyes, nose or mouth. Rinse it off with water if you accidentally get the medicine in these areas.

Halostrol-F Cream is used to treat skin infections caused by bacteria such as impetigo (red sores on face), infection in the hair follicle, sycosis barbae (infection of the bearded skin), paronychia (infection of the skin surrounding a fingernail or toenail), erythrasma (infection with brown, scaly skin patches, especially in the folds of the body), etc. It may also be used to prevent infections in small cuts or wounds on your skin. Halostrol-F Cream gives relief from pain, swelling, redness, itching, discomfort at the affected area and speeds up the healing process. You may notice your skin starting to get better within 4-5 days. Keep using Halostrol-F Cream for as long as it is prescribed.

What if you forget to take Halostrol Cream?
If you miss a dose of Halostrol-F Cream, apply it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

- Halostrol-F Cream must be applied as a thin layer on the affected area as prescribed by your doctor.
- Do not use this medicine more often or for longer than advised by your doctor.
- Before each application, wash the affected area with soap and water and dry well.
- Avoid getting it in the eyes, mouth or nose. Rinse with cold water if you accidentally get it in these areas.
