It should be taken by mouth with or without food. This medicine is given for long time as takes few months to show its effects. Thus, it is important to take it as advised by doctor and complete the full course of treatment.

It is usually well tolerated. However, it may produce some mild sexual side effects such as low sexual drive. Remember you should not donate blood for 6 months after taking the last dose of this medicine.

Benign prostatic hyperplasia
When your prostate gland becomes enlarged it can cause urinary problems such as difficulty passing urine and the need to go to the toilet frequently or urgently. It can also cause urine flow to be slower. If not treated, there is a risk that your urine flow will be completely blocked. Dutasquare Tablet works by relaxing muscles in the bladder and prostate. So, it can rapidly relieve the symptoms and make it easier for you to urinate. It also helps to treat uncontrollable contractions (spasms) of the bladder muscles that causes frequent urination, urgent need to urinate, and inability to control passing of urine. It also relieves painful, or frequent urination and reduces urgency to urinate. Take this medicine exactly as prescribed for maximum benefits.

Side effects of Dutasquare Tablet

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

How to use Dutasquare Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Dutasquare Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How Dutasquare Tablet works

Dutasquare Tablet is a 5-alpha reductase inhibitors. It blocks an enzyme which is necessary to change testosterone to another hormone that causes the prostate to grow. As a result, it helps to shrink the prostate and relieve the symptoms like difficulty in passing urine.

Driving

Kidney

SAFE IF PRESCRIBED

Dutasquare Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Dutasquare Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.

Liver

CAUTION

Dutasquare Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Dutasquare Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Use of Dutasquare Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease.
