Doxyguard Tablet is a versatile antibiotic medicine which can be used to treat many different infections caused by bacteria. These include infections of the blood, brain, lungs, bones, joints, urinary tract, stomach and intestines. It can also be used to treat sexually transmitted diseases. It stops the growth of the bacteria causing the infection and clears the infection. It also helps treat as well as prevent diarrhea that may occur due to the use of this medicine or due to stomach/gut(intestine) infections.

Doxyguard Tablet

Doxyguard Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Doxycycline and Lactobacillus. Doxycycline is an antibiotic medicine belonging to the class called "tetracyclines”. It is used to treat bacterial infections in many different parts of the body. On the other hand, Lactobacillus is a live microorganism which restores the balance of good bacteria in the intestine that may get upset with the use of antibiotics.
Can I drink milk while taking Doxyguard Tablet?
No, you should avoid using milk and milk products while taking Doxyguard Tablet. Consuming dairy products along with Doxyguard Tablet can decrease its absorption from the stomach, which may lead to inadequate affect of this medicine.
What is the recommended storage condition for Doxyguard Tablet?
Keep this medicine in the container or the pack it came in, tightly closed. Store it according to the instructions mentioned on the pack or label. Dispose of the unused medicine. Make sure it is not consumed by pets, children and other people.
