Comvac 4 HB Injection should be injected by a doctor or healthcare professional. It is given via muscle in the anterolateral region of the thigh of infants and young children. You should not take it if you have any known allergy from this injection. Do not skip any doses and follow your doctor’s instructions carefully to get maximum benefit.

The most common side effects include redness at the injection site, tenderness, irritability, vomiting, loss of appetite and fever. If any of these side effects or any other symptoms which you think are because of this medicine persist for a longer duration, please inform your doctor.

Prevention of Chronic hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection
Hepatitis B is an infection of the liver caused by the Hepatitis B virus (HBV). When the infection moves into a long-lasting stage, it is called chronic hepatitis B virus infection. It can spread from person to person through blood, semen or other body fluids. Hepatitis B can cause mild illness lasting a few weeks, or it can lead to a serious, lifelong illness. Comvac 4 HB Injection is given to prevent hepatitis B infection. It is recommended for all infants and children of 6 weeks through 6 years of age. Prevention of Tetanus
Tetanus is a serious bacterial infection that affects the nervous system and causes muscles throughout the body to become stiff and tighten. Comvac 4 HB Injection helps prevent tetanus infection.
