Product introduction

Buprocare 0.2mg Tablet is only prescribed to individuals who are at least 16 years of age or above. It may be habit-forming and should be taken only as directed by your doctor. The medicine may be a part of your treatment which could include receiving social and psychological support.

It can be taken with or without food. You should continue taking this medicine regularly until the doctor tells you it is alright to stop. Try not to miss doses as this will make the medicine less effective.

Some common side effects of this medicine include weakness, drug withdrawal syndrome, anxiety, nervousness, dizziness, headache, sleepiness, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, and abdominal pain. If any of these side effects do not resolve with time or get worse, you should let your doctor know. Your doctor may be able to suggest ways of preventing or reducing the symptoms.

To make sure it is safe for you, before taking this medicine, let your doctor know if you have any medical conditions or disorders. You should also tell your doctor all the other medicines you are using or taking. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult their doctors before using this medicine.

Frequently asked questions

Buprocare 0.2mg Tablet is used to relieve severe pain when other pain medicines did not work well enough or cannot be tolerated. This medicine is not used for minor pain or pain that only sometimes occurs. It should not be used to treat pain that you only have once in a while or "as needed". It is also used to treat opioid use disorder.
This medicine may not be suitable for some people, or the dosage needs to be reduced in people with liver disease, with a history of drug or alcohol abuse, psychiatric disorders, previous head injury, a history of seizure disorders, with certain gastrointestinal conditions, respiratory disease, or the elderly. Talk to your doctor in case of any doubts.
It is advisable to avoid the sudden discontinuation of Buprocare 0.2mg Tablet. The dosage must be reduced slowly to minimize withdrawal symptoms which include restlessness, runny nose and eyes, muscle pain, and insomnia. Your doctor will be best to advise you more on this.
Seek medical attention right away if you have symptoms such as agitation, hallucinations, fever, sweating, shivering, fast heart rate, muscle stiffness, twitching, loss of coordination, nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea.
This medicine will begin working shortly after taking one dose.
This medicine may cause sleepiness or dizziness and affect your ability to drive or operate machinery. Avoid alcohol and consult your doctor in case of any doubts.
This medicine may cause a severe lowering of blood pressure, or a sudden drop in blood pressure when going from sitting to standing, especially if you are taking medications for high blood pressure. Talk to your doctor who might change your dosage.
This medicine may be addictive and cause psychological dependence and withdrawal symptoms, particularly when used for long periods of time.
If you use Buprocare 0.2mg Tablet while you are pregnant, your baby could become dependent on the medicine. This can cause life-threatening withdrawal symptoms in the baby after it is born. Babies born dependent on habit-forming medicine may need medical treatment for several weeks.
Buprocare 0.2mg Tablet can pass into breast milk and may cause drowsiness, and breathing problems in a breastfeeding baby. Ask your doctor in detail about all the risks.
As with most medications, Buprocare 0.2mg Tablet should be stored at room temperature. Store it in a secure location where it will not be exposed to excessive heat, moisture, or direct sunlight. Keep it out of reach of children. Make sure that any leftover portion is disposed of safely.
