If you are taking birth control pills, dose of Broncofil SR Capsule need to be reduced as birth control pills may interfere with clearance of Broncofil SR Capsule, increasing its levels and chances of side effects.

Broncofil SR Capsule should be taken strictly as advised by the doctor. To avoid an upset stomach it should be taken with food.
Is it okay to take furosemide along with Broncofil SR Capsule?
One should take proper caution if you are taking furosemide along with Broncofil SR Capsule. This is because the combined use of these medicines may decrease the levels of potassium. Hence, regular monitoring of potassium levels is required.
When should Broncofil SR Capsule be avoided?
Broncofil SR Capsule should be avoided in patients who are allergic to ambroxol, Broncofil SR Capsule, or theophylline.
