Introduction of Atast-D Tablet

Atast-D Tablet is a medicine used to treat high cholesterol. It is a combination of two medicines that reduces "bad" cholesterol (LDL) and triglycerides (fats) levels in the body. It may also reduce the risk of future heart attack and stroke.

Atast-D Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Atast-D Tablet1 and Atast-D Tablet2.

In High cholesterol

Atast-D Tablet effectively reduces the high cholesterol levels in your body and prevents the absorption of excess of cholesterol from the food that you eat. Lowering the amount of cholesterol reduces the chances of heart diseases and helps you remain healthier for longer. It also contains Vitamin D3 supplements, that help relieve any muscle pain that may be caused due to the cholesterol lowering medicine. Additionally, they also improve heart health. Take it regularly and make appropriate lifestyle changes (such as eating healthy and staying active) to maximize the effectiveness of this medicine. Keep taking it even if you feel well.

What if you forget to take Atast-D Tablet?

If you miss a dose of Atast-D Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Atast-D Tablet

  • Atast-D Tablet treats high cholesterol by lowering "bad" cholesterol (LDL) and triglycerides (fats). It should be taken in addition to regular exercise and low-fat diet.
  • It decreases the risk of heart diseases and helps prevent stroke and heart attack.
  • It should be taken in the evening after dinner and before sleeping.
  • In general, Atast-D Tablet is safe. It may cause diarrhoea, gas or an upset stomach. If any of these happen to you, take it with food.
  • It may cause the amount of calcium in your blood to fall. Take calcium rich food in your diet and have regular blood tests to monitor the level of calcium in your blood.
  • Notify your doctor if you experience yellow eyes or skin or dark urine after starting the medication.
