Zeniron Syrup

Zeniron syrup is a combination of methylcobalamin, alpha lipoic acid, pyridoxine and folic acid. Methylcobalamin is used in peripheral neuropathy, diabetic neuropathy etc. It is a form of vitamin B12. This vitamin is one of two active coenzymes used by B-12 dependent enzymes in the body.
 
Methylcobalamin normalizes protein transport in the cells of diabetic patient. It exhibits inhibitory effects on nerve degeneration in people with neuropathies. Methylcobalamin accelerates the metabolic pathways of nucleic acids, proteins and lipids through its involvement in the transmethylation reaction; thus, it exerts a repairing effect on injured nerve tissues. 
Alpha-lipoic acid or ALA is a naturally occurring compound that's made in the body. It serves vital functions at the cellular level, such as energy production. Alpha-lipoic acid helps to prevent certain kinds of cell damage in the body, and also restores vitamin levels such as vitamin E and vitamin C. Alpha-lipoic acid breaks down carbohydrates and to make energy for the other organs in the body. Alpha-lipoic acid works as an antioxidant, which means that it might provide protection to the brain under conditions of damage or injury. The antioxidant effects are also helpful in certain liver diseases.
