Vein Hunter Wireless, Hand-Held and Portable Vein Finder is a wireless, hand-held, portable and rechargeable vein finder machine that works on Trans-illumination principle for the visualization of superficial and deep veins. Trans illumination refers to the transmission of light through tissues of the body. The Vein Hunter produces a ring of bright light which is directed down to the center of the ring which is focused on the skin. When a VeinHunter is placed on the skin, the light uniformly illuminates the superficial tissues inside the ring. De-oxygenated blood in veins absorbs the light so veins show as dark lines within the illuminated area.
