Ultrafolin Tablet contains Folic acid, Vitamin B12, and Nicotinamide.
Role of active ingredients:
Folic acid is essential to numerous bodily functions ranging from nucleotide biosynthesis to the remethylation of homocysteine. It is especially important during periods of rapid cell division and growth. Both children and adults require folic acid to produce healthy red blood cells and prevent anemia.
Vitamin B12 is required for proper red blood cell formation, neurological function, and DNA synthesis. Vitamin B12 is an essential nutrient for normal hematopoiesis and treats diabetic neuropathy and peripheral neuropathy.
Niacinamide (nicotinamide) is a form of vitamin B3 (niacin) and is used to prevent and treat niacin deficiency (pellagra). Niacin deficiency can cause diarrhea, confusion (dementia), tongue redness/swelling, and peeling red skin. Niacinamide is often used instead of niacin because it causes fewer side effects (e.g., flushing).
