Information about Sensodyne Rapid Relief Sensitive for Healthy Gums & Strong Teeth | Daily Protection Toothpaste
Sensodyne Rapid Relief Sensitive Toothpaste
When the protective layer of teeth (enamel) is worn away, or gums recede, the dentine underneath becomes exposed. When the exposed dentine comes in contact with hot, cold, sweet or sour food and drinks, it can trigger a sharp short sensation called tooth sensitivity. Sensodyne Rapid Relief is a daily fluoride toothpaste that acts rapidly against tooth sensitivity while still providing the benefits of regular paste-like strong teeth and healthy gums. It starts to act rapidly by building a mineral-like layer over exposed dentine and within microscopic channels. The paste also builds ongoing protection with every brush so that you can enjoy your favourite foods and drinks without the worry of sensitive teeth. Sensodyne Rapid Relief toothpaste is available in two packs - 80 gm and 160 gm (80 gm * 2) combo pack.

Frequently Asked Questions:
Q. Why should I use the Sensodyne Rapid Relief Sensitive Toothpaste?
Sensodyne Rapid Relief Sensitive Toothpaste toothpaste aids in relief from sensitivity by creating a protective shield for the enamel. It is helpful for cavity protection and has a fresh taste.
Q. Does over-brushing cause sensitive teeth?
Brushing your teeth too frequently and too hard can cause enamel wear and gum recession. With time, it can also expose the dentin and thus causes sensitivity. However, using Sensodyne sensitive toothpaste twice daily can reduce sensitivity.
Q. How does Sensodyne work?
Sensodyne contains potassium nitrate that soothes the nerves inside your teeth. The stannous fluoride protects the teeth by building a protective layer around the teeth, creating a barrier from pain caused due to sensitivity.
