Information about Scabicid Lotion
Scabicid Lotion is an antiseptic lotion made from gamma benzene hexachloride, cetrimide and phenol which makes it the best fit lotion for skin infections like scabies, dandruff, pediculosis and lice infestation. It has a pleasing fragrance and it is miscible with water which makes it usable for people with tender skin.

For Scabies:
- Take a hot bath using Dettol soap and dry with a clean towel
- Either the patient themselves or some-body else should paint Scabicid on each and every part of the body from the neck to the toes with the help of a new, flat, about 2 inches broad and soft paintbrush or with hands.
- Special care should be taken to cover inside nails and breasts, armpits, buttocks and groin
- Let Scabicid be on the body for 5 to 10 minutes in a warm room before putting on your clothing. All infected clothing and linen should be washed and all the infected persons living together in the house should be treated at the same time
- Take a bath the next day
- Usually, one application is sufficient
- The possibility of failure is decreased by a second application two days after the first
- Never use this product daily
For Pediculosis:
- Coat the head thoroughly with Scabicid, with clean brush or hand
- Next day, wash the hair with soap and water
- After seven days the head should be inspected carefully to notice any re-infestation
- If the infestation is very heavy the above treatment should be given twice in 24 hours
- If the re-infestation reoccurs, continue the treatment for two days more
- Rub Scabicid on the scalp, wash the head after 5 to 6 hours with soap and water
- If dandruff persists, repeat the treatment after two days
- Read the label carefully before use
