MGRM Thumb Spica Splint 0310 Universal

MGRM Thumb Spica Splint 0310 is a baseball splint which is worn on the thumb where the injury is caused. The splint is indicated to be used when the thumb is injured and becomes immobile.

Uses:

• The splint helps to immobilize Carpo-Metacarpal and Metacarpal joints of the thumb

• Designed separately for the right and left thumb

• Indicated to be used in as non-surgical management of thumb injuries such as Game Keeper's thumb, Skier's thumb

• Comes with velcro closure that helps to assure the proper fit of the splint

Directions For Use:

• Take MGRM Baseball Splint 0904 as directed on the label

• Place the splint (which can be bent to achieve the desired angle of thumb abduction) over the backside of the thumb so that the center of the splint is at the base of the thumb

• Apply loop straps over the hook, above and below the wrist joint first, and then, the one around the thumb

• Re-adjustment of the loop straps may be required for secured as well as comfortable fit
