Mycobacterium Tuberculosis DNA PCR - Qualitative, Blood detects the presence of genetic material of the mycobacterium species responsible for causing tuberculosis (TB). TB is highly contagious disease and generally affects the lungs; however sometimes other body parts such abdomen, brain, spinal cord, kidneys and bones are also affected. This test provides an early diagnosis of the infection of all types of TB affecting any organ. It also aids in monitoring of the treatment process.
