Glucose 2 hrs Post, 75g Load test measures the body's response to glucose after two hours of ingestion of 75 g glucose (flavored or plain, bought from a nearby pharmacy). This test can be done irrespective of the meal timings.
This test helps identify abnormalities in how your body handles glucose after a meal, often before your fasting blood glucose level becomes abnormal. 2-hrs glucose determination is useful in the detection and management of diabetes mellitus.
