Aspergillus IgG Antibody

Aspergillus is a mold that causes chronic pulmonary aspergillosis (CPA), a slowly progressing fungal infection in your respiratory system. People with underlying lung conditions or weak immunity are specifically prone to this infection. This test measures IgG antibody produced by the immune system in response to Aspergillus infection.

The test is used to monitor your body's response to the treatment of diseases like Aspergillus Rhinosinusitis and Chronic Pulmonary Aspergillosis.
