Sulphacetamide/Sulfacetamide + Boric Acid + Phenylephrine + Zinc Sulphate Monohydrate is a combination of four medicines: Sulphacetamide/Sulfacetamide and Boric Acid which treat eye infections. Sulphacetamide/Sulfacetamide is an antibiotic. It stops bacteria from producing folic acid, a vitamin required for bacterial multiplication. Boric Acid and Zinc Sulphate Monohydrate are antiseptics which treat bacterial infection in the eye and relieve irritation. Phenylephrine is a decongestant which works by narrowing blood vessels of the eye to relieve inflammation (redness and swelling).
