How Lidocaine/Lignocaine + Adrenaline/Epinephrine + Sodium Chloride + Sodium Metabisulphite + Methylparaben works
Lidocaine/Lignocaine + Adrenaline/Epinephrine + Sodium Chloride + Sodium Metabisulphite + Methylparaben is a combination of five medicines: Lidocaine/Lignocaine , Adrenaline/Epinephrine , Sodium Chloride , Sodium Metabisulphite and Methylparaben. Lidocaine/Lignocaine is a local anesthetic which works by blocking pain signals from the nerves to brain which decreases the pain sensation. Adrenaline/Epinephrine is a vasoconstrictor which narrows the blood vessels to prolong the action of Lidocaine/Lignocaine . This also controls bleeding during the procedure and minimizes side effects of Lidocaine/Lignocaine . Sodium Chloride is a purified salt solution which helps prevent edema (swelling) and discomfort on injection. Sodium Metabisulphite and Methylparaben are preservatives.
