How Betamethasone + Neomycin + Clioquinol (Iodochlorhydroxyquin) + Tolnaftate + Chlorocresol works
Betamethasone + Neomycin + Clioquinol (Iodochlorhydroxyquin) + Tolnaftate + Chlorocresol is a combination of four medicines: Betamethasone , Neomycin , Clioquinol (Iodochlorhydroxyquin) and Tolnaftate which treat skin infections. Betamethasone is a steroid medicine. It blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the skin red, swollen and itchy. Neomycin is an antibiotic which kills bacteria by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions. Clioquinol (Iodochlorhydroxyquin) is an antibiotic with additional antifungal action. It works by preventing the growth and multiplication of both bacteria and fungi.
