Dr. Kuntal Roy

Dr. Kuntal Roy is working as a pathologist at TATA 1MG labs and heads the Pathology and Molecular laboratory at Kolkata. He has completed his graduation degree MBBS from Calcutta National Medical College & Hospital and post graduation degree of MD from R G Kar Medical College & Hospital. He has also done Diploma in Diabetology from Royal Liverpool Academy (UK). He has experience of 10 years as Diabetologist and General Practitioner and 7 years in field of Pathology. He has worked as Junior Consultant Pathologist in CK Birla -CMRI Hospital in the department of Hematology, Histopathology and Cytology. He has completed Quality Management Systems & Internal Audit in Medical Laboratories as per ISO 15189:2012 in year 2015 since then faced around 12 NABL audits and 1 CAP audit. He is well versed with histopathology and immunohistochemistry, cytology, frozen section, hematology, biochemistry, immunoassay, clinical pathology, serology and laboratory quality management. He has 4 publications in various indexed journals till date.
