- You should continue to exercise regularly, eat a healthy diet, and take your other diabetes medicines (if prescribed) along with Xigduo XR 10mg/500mg Tablet.
- Take it with food to lower your chance of having an upset stomach.
- Xigduo XR 10mg/500mg Tablet can cause urinary tract infection. Make sure to drink plenty of fluids and practice good genital hygiene.
- It may cause your body to lose too much fluid (dehydration) or you to urinate more often. Drink plenty of water and stay hydrated.
- It can cause hypoglycemia (low blood sugar level) when used with other antidiabetic medicines, alcohol or if you delay or miss a meal.
- Always carry some sugary food or fruit juice with you in case you experience hypoglycemia symptoms such as cold sweats, cool pale skin, tremor, and anxious feeling.
