Stanza 20 Tablet is used in the treatment of hereditary angioedema. It prevents and decreases the episodes of symptoms such as swelling of the face, extremities, genitals, bowel wall, and throat.

Stanza 20 Tablet is used to treat thin and weak bones (osteoporosis) and certain diseases received from the family members

How to use Stanza Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Stanza 20 Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How Stanza Tablet works

Stanza 20 Tablet reduces the release of a chemical called bradykinin, that is responsible for causing breaking and leakage of blood vessels. This damage to blood vessels leads to sudden accumulation of fluids below the skin causing swelling (edema) as well as redness. Stanza 20 Tablet blocks the action of bradykinin and treats angioedema.

Do not drive because you may feel sleepy or dizzy while being treated with valsartan. Do not start or continue valsartan, if you are dehydrated due to sickness, diarrhea or use of diuretics. Do not take valsartan, if you have history of swelling of eyes and lips (angioedema) or any disease of the heart (eg. ischemic heart disease, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, cardiogenic shock, or heart attack).
