This will make it easier for you to go about your daily activities. It rarely has any serious side effects and you may only need to take it on days you have symptoms. If you are taking it to prevent getting symptoms you should use it regularly to get the most benefit.

In Treatment of Hay fever

Hay fever, also called allergic rhinitis, causes cold-like signs and symptoms, such as a runny nose, itchy eyes, congestion, sneezing and sinus pressure. The only difference is that in hay fever, these symptoms are not produced due to a virus but are simply allergic responses of our body to allergens (allergy causing agents such as pollen). Set-M-Kid Tablet DT is used to provide relief from these symptoms of hay fever. It works by blocking the release of the chemical substance responsible for producing such allergy symptoms. Set-M-Kid Tablet DT is a safe medicine which helps treat hay fever and makes us feel at ease.

Set-M-Kid Tablet DT is effective in treating allergic skin conditions with inflammation and itching. It reduces the actions of chemicals in the body that cause inflammation of the skin. How Set-M Tablet DT works

Set-M-Kid Tablet DT contains Levocetirizine and Montelukast. Together these two relieve sneezing and runny nose caused due to allergies. Levocetirizine is an antiallergic that blocks a chemical messenger (histamine) responsible for runny nose, watery eyes, and sneezing. Montelukast is a leukotriene antagonist. It works by blocking another chemical messenger (leukotriene). This reduces inflammation (swelling) in the airways and nose and improves symptoms.

Set-M-Kid Tablet DT should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Set-M-Kid Tablet DT may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
However, use of Set-M-Kid Tablet DT is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.
Liver
SAFE IF PRESCRIBED
Set-M-Kid Tablet DT is safe to use in patients with liver disease. No dose adjustment of Set-M-Kid Tablet DT is recommended.
However, consult your child’s doctor in case of severe liver disease.

What if I forget to give Set-M-Kid Tablet DT to my child?

Do not panic. Unless your child’s doctor has advised a specific regime for your child, give the missed dose as soon as you remember it. Skip the missed dose if it is almost the time for the next dose. Do not give a double dose to catch up and follow the prescribed dosing schedule.

Can I decrease the dose of Set-M-Kid Tablet DT by myself if my child starts to feel better?

No, adhere to the dose as prescribed by your child’s doctor. Do not increase or decrease the dose by yourself as it can impact your child’s health.
