Fongitar Liquid consists of Zinc Pyrithione and Polytar. Fongitar liquid is a medicated scalp cleanser with two active ingredients and added hair conditioner for the treatment or relief of itching and scaling scalp conditions. It removes pathogenic surface organisms.
Role of key Ingredients: Polytar Coal tar is a byproduct of coal processing. Coal tar topical (for the skin) is used to treat the skin symptoms of psoriasis, including dryness, redness, flaking, scaling, and itching. Coal tar is not a cure for psoriasis, and it will provide only temporary relief of skin symptoms.
Fongitar Liquid is used for the treatment of scalp disorders such as psoriasis, dandruff, seborrhoea, eczema and the pruritus.
Direction for use: Shake the bottle. Wet the hair, massage Fongitar into hair, scalp and surrounding skin. Leave for at least 2 - 3 minutes, then rinse thoroughly. Use 2 - 3 times weekly for 3 weeks or until condition clears. For prevention of scaling and itchy scalp conditions, use once weekly.
