Uses of Fingomod Capsule
Benefits of Fingomod Capsule
In Multiple sclerosis (MS)
Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a disease of the brain and spinal cord in which a person’s own immune system attacks the protective sheath (called myelin) of the nerves. This leads to symptoms such as vision loss, pain, fatigue and improper coordination. Fingomod Capsule helps to suppress the body’s immune system, thereby reducing the progression of the disease. It reduces the inflammation of the damaged nerves, prevents further damage and stabilizes your immune system. It improves muscle strength and helps the patients to walk better. This makes the patients more confident and enhances their quality of life.

How Fingomod Capsule works
Fingomod Capsule is a sphingosine 1-phosphate receptor modulator. In multiple sclerosis, the immune cells (lymphocytes) attack the nervous system and deteriorate their functioning. This medicine works by reducing the number of lymphocytes in the body, thereby stopping them from entering the brain and affecting the central nervous system (the brain and nerves). Thus, Fingomod Capsule treats the condition and also prevents any recurrence of the disease.
